Jeff Zomback, CPA, MBA
Chief Financial Officer
As CFO, Mr. Zomback is responsible for the accounting and finance functions at Nelson Management Group. He has over thirty years’ experience in the financial services industry and has spent the past ten years focused on the real estate sector. Mr. Zomback has extensive capital markets experience, having executed over $4 billion in credit facilities, leading to significant corporate growth, and establishing an unencumbered debt strategy and investment-grade rating. In addition, Jeff has executed more than $1 billion in US and European bond issuances while managing company risk exposure, formulating FX hedging policies yielding major exposure reduction and mark-to-market gains exceeding $90 million. He has also cultivated strong relationships with global banking centers as well as numerous mid-tier and regional banks.
Prior to joining Nelson Management Group, Mr. Zomback spent over eight years working at W. P. Carey and Paramount Group, with a primary focus on commercial “Trophy A” office space, mixed-use properties and single-tenant triple-net assets. Before this, he worked for twenty years in various capacities at AIG, including directing global treasury operations in the US, Europe and Asia. His career began with a role in public accounting at Ernst & Young.
Mr. Zomback is a licensed certified public accountant with an MBA in corporate finance from Fordham University and a BS in accounting from Binghamton University. When he’s not working, Mr. Zomback enjoys golf, biking, fantasy football, The New York Times crossword puzzles and family BBQ’s.
