Christine Chorny

Director of Tenant Relations

Ms. Chorny has been with Nelson Management Group for eighteen years. In her role as director of tenant relations, she has extensive knowledge of all the rules & regulations of agencies such as the Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR), the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) and the Department of Buildings (DOB). She also has experience with Senior Citizen Rent Increase Exemption (SCRIE) and Disability Rent Increase Exemption (DRIE) forms and is fully equipped to assist in resolving tenant complaints, violations and leasing issues. She is responsible for billing, collections, legal issues (non-payment cases and holdovers), violations and other tenant-related matters and is known for her attention to detail and dedicated service when managing her staff. When she’s not at the office, Christine is an avid sportswoman and loves family vacations and Sunday dinners.
